Birds Of A Feather ~ La-La Land Crafts

Hey all! Happy Friday! For today's theme, I am using Birds Of A Feather Clear Stamp Set from La-La Land Crafts. The La-La Land Crafts team is working on the theme of Thankfulness. I have to say today's theme is PERFECT! I am so thankful this week for a Walmart employee by the name of Sierra that this card is most definitely going to her this week.

I love making thank you cards and I can't say that we really make enough of them. We make them for everything else, but it seems that thank you cards have kind of gone out of style.

I LOVE this cute little bird with the drink. He is so much fun to color. The last time I used this stamp set I didn't get a chance to use him I believe I used a different one. Although I couldn't remember at this moment haha!

I also decided on making a fun shaker card to go with this. I started with the colors getting inspiration from my friend Pam. I just had to make the shaker, as I thought it would be fun.

Pam did a card that was kind of the same but not completely as I changed a few things. For instance, I used the ZigZags Die to have a bit of fun. But she was for sure the inspiration for almost most of it! Pam's card however was not a shaker card.

Pam also used the little palm trees but I don't think she used this die, she used another one. I love it when people take my cards that inspire them and improve on them. It is so much fun to see someone else's take on it. Pam has not seen this card but I know she will love it ... I hope haha!

Copic markers I used are:
Body: C0, 1, 2
Blue Feathers: BG000, 01, 05
Yellow Feathers & Beak: Y00, 11, 13, 15
Feet & Drink Umbrella: Y35, 21
Drink: YG17, 14, 01, C1
Straw: RV55

If you like the way I color and would like to learn from me, come join Copic Academy!
