Club La-La Land Crafts February 2020 Kit Unboxing & Inspiration

Hey all! Remember when I said this was going to be an amazing year? Well, Club La-La Land Crafts kits just keep getting better and better! The little bees in this kit are so stinking cute! and Be Happy Marci is so cute! I love her little hairdo! I really cannot wait to show you the kit!
I have my unpacking reveal video for you along with inspiration. I also have coloring videos and card assembling videos for you. I really hope that you enjoy them. They will be below.
I am in love with the 3.5 x 7 in card size lately. I thought it would be fun to make a shaker card with these cute little Double Stitched Hexagons. I had my son Stephen pick out the sequins that most reminded him of honey. I think he picked a really good color.
I just love how cute little Bee Happy Marci is, have I told you that yet? I also love the new paper! The new paper works so well with all the new release stamps that have come out this week and itreally REALLY works with this kit! I love all the flowers with the bees!
I really really love this Bee Happy Marci. I know I have said that about the entire kit... but ...
Okay! I have a story for you, why my family and I love bees so much. When we lived in California we had a pool and hot tub in the backyard. A few houses up the man was a beekeeper. Every morning the kids and I would do P.E. in the morning, in the pool. But, there would always be at least 30+ bees in the pool either flying around or they would swoop down for water and they would get their little wings wet and get trapped in the water. We would just scoop them out of the water, yes with our hands if we could reach them, and let them dry off in our hands to save their little but very important lives. No, we were never stung or anything like that. We believe they just knew that we were saving them and were happy. To this day we still save bees if we can.
The Copic markers I used on this card were:
The Just Bee-cause sentiment fits perfectly into the second smallest of the Double Stitched Hexagons. I love those too!! I did a little something that I have not done in a LONG time with the little bee holding the bucket of honey.
I used Copic markers to first color the honey, like it was oozing over the top of the bucket. After that, I used Glossy Accents to make the honey look wet and shiny and of course sticky! It was so much fun!
The Copic markers I used are:
Bees: Y38, 35, 32, C9, 7, 5, 4, R20, 30
Wings: BG01, 000, 0000
Bucket: C1, 3, 5
Honey: Y21, 26, YR21
Beehive: E31, 34
Crown: Y26, YR23, 24
Cardstock Sizes:
Whisper White: 7 x 7 (Folded in half for a 3.5 x 7 card)
Cloud Paper (Love You More 6 x 6 Designer Paper Pack): 2.5 x 6

My second card is using all these super cute little bees that I just love! I used both of the new paper packs for this card. I also had to use the queen bee with her cute little crown.
