Snapes Alive! - The Cat's Pajamas New Release

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey all! We are on day 3 of The Cat's Pajama's sneaky peek week! Today I am showing you the stamp set Snapes Alive! I LOVE this stamp set!!! I can't even tell you how much. Some of you may not know but I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I love everything about the wizarding world.

I was even able to find a print off of the Marauders Map for my card. I printed it down by 50% then went over it with some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink to give it that same color.

I was really inspired by the sentiments in this set. One of my favorite lines from the movie is opening up of the Marauders map " I solemnly swear I am up to no good" It is what inspired me to find the download for the map.

I really loved having the map because I was able to fold it just as if the map was being opened by the little cute bun dressed up as a Gryffindor student.

I really LOVE all the elements and sentiments that were included in this stamp set and the matching potter die-cuts. I did fussy cut a few things because I had done some masking with the cauldron and such. I also cut around his little wee hand so I could put the Nimbus 2000 in his hand.

But bubble background is some bubble wrap packaging that I had and pressed it on the paper with some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink.  I also used the Peppermint Twist Stencil as well with the Picked Raspberries Distress Oxide Ink. I am in love with the new stencils!

The wand was cut out by using the matching potter die-cuts. It is so very cute and tiny!

The striped background was just some red and yellow paper that I had in my scraps. I cut the red to 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 as the whole card is only 5 x 5. I then cut the yellow bits by 4 3/4 x 3/4.

The last thing I added was some of the holeless sequins. I used the green ones so it would look like it was bubbling out of the cauldron.

The Copic Markers I used are:

  • Bunny: E50, 51, 53, 55, R00, 01, 02

  • Robe: R56, 59, C8, 7, 6, 5, 3

  • Cauldron: C8, 7, 6, 5, 3, YG03

  • Sorting Hat: E21, 23, 25, 27, 29

  • Nimbus 2000: E21, 23, 25, 27, 29, Y21, 26, 28

  • Background: Distress Oxide Ink Picked Raspberries, Twisted Citron,

One last thing before I leave you today…
