Grab The Unicorn Rain Card - The Cat's Pajamas New Release

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey all! We are on day 7 of The Cat's Pajama's sneaky peek week! Today I am showing you the stamp set Grab The Unicorn! This stamp set is so darn cute with all the different little unicorns that I could not decide which ones to use. So... I made two cards for you. Simple right,

The first card I am going to show you is a quick and simple little card but oh so cute all the same. This one features the two sweet little unicorns sharing a little friendly kiss on the cheek.

This one I colored them very simply because I just felt that is what they needed and made them even cuter. I made sure to color in the nails of the girl unicorn while leaving the boy unicorn the traditional hoof color.

I used the sentiment "You're One Of A Kind" for this one because it was just so sweet. I love that I can switch these up and have them as mother and daughter or mother and son unicorns for my kids.

I used the sweet Rectangle Postage Stamp die cut from our last release and made a couple of different layers for it. Remember we still have the Layer It Up Challenge going on right now still over on the Cat's Pajamas Blog. You don't want to miss out on that fun!

The Copic Markers I used for this card are:

  • Girl: RV10, 13, 23, C0, 1, 2, 3

  • Boy: B00, 02, 04, C0, 1, 2, 3

  • Heart R24

The next card that I have for you is a rain card. I have to admit this is the first one I have made so please be gentle.

There is a little cloud and raindrops that go with this little unicorn. However, because of the rain card, I had to leave those off so the beads would not get stuck.

I actually used the Beaches die-cut for the grass. I think it came out pretty well even though it just looks like hills.

The clouds I used the Clouds and Balloons die-cut. I also used some of the Art Glitter Glue to adhere to the clear glitter and make it look a little "puffier" is that a word? well it is now haha!

There are the beads coming down. There will be a tutorial on my blog later this week on how to make the rain cards. It is so much easier than you think!

The Copic markers I used on this card are:

  • Girl: RV10, 13, 23, C0, 1, 2, 3

  • Umbrella: Y11, YG01
