New Release That's How I Roll & New Spiral Die

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hey all! Okay, super fun Cat's Pajamas day!!! Again YAY!!! Yes, It is day 6 of the sneaky peek of the new release!! Today's sneaky peek is the beyond adorable stamp set That's How I Roll along with the new Spiral Die cut!! You are not going to believe how much fun this new die cut is. It works perfectly with this stamp set!

I was so completely inspired by this whole stamp set... again by my husband haha!! He used to have this old bowling shirt like an actual league shirt from the company Dole (you know the fruit). He got it from my sister in laws dad, it used to be his league shirt. My husband is into that kind of stuff so it was pretty fun. I colored the little bunny's shirt to look exactly like his Dole shirt he had.

Of course, we are back to the carrot-colored bowling ball. haha! Had to have it! Not only is the size difference (7 x 3.5) special. I made the whole thing a little special. This card the bowling ball will actually move :)

The bowling pins in the window will actually shake as well, but it was hard getting them to do it on the video... stubborn little things when they get stuck to the side of the adhesive haha!

I love the sentiments in this stamp set. They also remind me of my husband. He says "That's how I roll" ALL THE TIME! So when I saw that I had to use it!! it was so funny!

I also made sure the wee bunny was not passing over the bowling line when he tossed his ball into the lane. I really wanted to try and make one of those bowling balls that are marbleized... but after 5 tries I was done haha! I may need to find a tutorial on that one.

I also used the new super fun Spiral die cut. Instead of using just white paper, like I was going to at first, I used acetate. I wanted to try to really give it the illusion of the bowling pins flying through the air after the ball hit them.

I really had so much fun making this card!

The Copic Markers I used are:

  • Fur: E50, 51, 53, 55

  • Nose: R01, 02

  • Shirt: G21, 24, 28, Y15, 18

  • Bowling Ball: YR02, 04, 09, E89

  • Bowling Pins: R24, 29, C1, 3

  • Bowling Lane: E30, 31, 33, N4, YR09

One last thing before I leave you today...
