Storing Copic Markers

You can store your markers either horizontally or vertically without any side effects per the Too. Corporation.

The markers are airtight, assuming you have put the caps on well, and pressure should equalize from one end to the other rapidly.

If a Copic Original marker has been unused for a while the fine nib may appear lighter than the chisel nib. This is normal and color will return to normal with a little coloring.

You will want to however keep them out of places of high heat such as laying for hours in the sun. In my experience, this has lessened the lasting of the ink.

Taking your markers on an airplane? I would caution you that if you carry your markers on an airplane, you should probably open the marker very carefully, preferably opening both ends a bit, in order to let the pressure equalize. Otherwise, you might get a drip from the pressure.
