Gingerbread Lucy for Card of the Month Club - C.C. Designs

Hey all! Happy Friday!! It is only a couple of more days until Christmas so I think a card showing Gingerbread Lucy Digital Stamp is perfect for today. Yes, you read that correctly digital stamp. She is still available in the C.C. Designs store. I actually created this card for my December Card of the Month Club and

everyone received the digital stamp for Christmas. It is such fun giving everyone a little something every once in a while.

The sentiment is printed out on vellum cardstock. when I created this card I had the song "Silver and Gold" from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas movie going through my head and I couldn't get it out. So I created the sentiment myself in my Silhouette software and printed it out. It isn't perfect but I like it.

The pattern paper I actually found on Etsy looking up gingerbread pattern paper. with the little hearts that are normally in the Swissies hair I thought the hearts on the pattern paper would be perfect with Gingerbread Lucy.

The ribbon Silver and Gold went with the song and looked great with the paper. Everything just pretty much fell into place while making the card. Gingerbread Lucy is just so inspiring, I love her! I did make little pleats on her dress instead of leaving it straight.

The last thing I added where the little pearls in the upper and lower corners of the card.

  1. Such a pretty card! All the elements work together beautifully and love how you've used the vellum for the sentiment. Your coloring is, of course, stunning.
