CCD x PBP Collab Hop - Reindeer Swissie Christmas Card

Hey all! Happy Friday!! Welcome to the CCD x PBP Collab Hop, a collaboration between Pear Blossom Press and CC Designs! The designers between both teams are sharing the most ADORABLE light-up cards today, all featuring stamps from CC Designs and lights from Pear Blossom Press.

I decided to feature the ever so cute Reindeer Swissie Clear Stamp Set so I could make a fun interactive card. Plus I just thought it would be SO MUCH fun to make her nose light up! This is where the Pear Blossom Press EZ-Lights come in to take a card from cute to WOW factor!

The letters that I used are stacked. The font I used to make them are BFC Baguette. I love this font with this card. I think I will be using it more for letters and things for cards, it is just so much fun! I put some little stars and lines with my white gel pen to make it look like it was shiny and sparkly.

Now for the light up bit of the card! This makes it really fun and exciting! I made the little "push me" her little bell that she holds.

Now you wouldn't think that the Pear Blossom Press EZ-Lights would work the way cards are usually created with them. But like I made the card I created last week with lights, I actually marked where I wanted the lights to shine on the green polka dot paper. The lights and wires themselves are under the green cardstock and green polka dot paper. I punched a hole where I made the markings and the light comes up through the holes. This way I can have nice fussy cut images while still having a space to hide the lights.

As you can see her nose and two of the Christmas lights light up. The lights are rather bright which is nice! However, it was lighting up her entire head haha! So I used some black cardstock behind her head with a punched out hole where her nose was so that JUST her nose would light up.
