Mommy Swissie ~ C.C. Designs

 

 

Hey all! Happy Friday!! Today I am showcasing the ever so sweet Mommy Swissie Clear Stamp Set from C.C. Designs. This card was special to me when I made it. Our nephew and his sweet wife are having their first baby, first great grandchild for my mother in law. This had to be a

special card, so of course I needed a Swissie. 

 

The couple is having a little boy so I decided on yellow and blue for the colors of the card. However, I decided I wanted a pop of color, so I used my pinks for a rose skirt and shirt for Mommy Swissie's outfit. Sierra, my nephew's wife, has blonde hair so of course it had to match.

 

The design on the baby buggy was just done with my white gel pen. I wasn't going to put a design on it, but then it looked to plain to me, so I had to add something. 

The pattern paper is digital that I found on Etsy. I really love how soft and pretty the paper is. It had some designs on the bottom corners but I just cut where those designs were not located. 

I also placed some nice lacey ribbon on the card as well for a little texture and accent. 

 

The sentiment is from the stamp set. I handmade the little flag after I stamped the sentiment on the cardstock. 

The last things I added were the Yellow and Blue/White flowers on the corners of the doily cut that I used from Silhouette, along with some dew drops.
