So Chic - Punches & Dies Challenge #466 ~ The Paper Shelter

 

Hey all! If you follow The Paper Shelter online at all you have probably already heard the news. I am so very EXCITED to announce that I am now part of The Paper Shelter Design Team! WOOHOO!!! Yes, yes I am very happy and excited as I have been wanting to be a part of this team with these wonderful images for... well like 7 years??? omg yes 7 years!!! at least! 

This is my very first card as a DT member! Eek yes, I am nervous but I love it! The theme for this week is Punches and Dies. Such an easy and fun theme for the challenge, you know you will want to join in the fun with us. I decided to go with the So Chic Digital Stamp for this card and make it very fun and vintage. I even blended my Copic markers a bit to make it have some texture like the old vintage photos. 

I had a fantastic time layering all the dies and adding extra little touches on the card. My favorite part of this card is the image itself... the eyes. I love making the eyes really pop and stand out. 

One of the dies I just had to use is the Heart Wreath Die. I cut it out of Vanilla Cardstock and then colored the hearts as well. I did the crazy blending thing again so they would look vintage. I really hope that worked. I feel like I got the texture that I wanted... what do you think?

The last thing that I added was some mulberry flowers that I have not been able to use in a really long time so I am very excited that I get to use my beautiful flowers yet again. I colored the white flowers with E41 to help them tie into the rest of the colors on the card. 

The Copic markers I used are: 

E40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 47, B00, 01, 04
