Club La-La Land Crafts July 2020 Kit More Inspiration

Hey all! Happy Tuesday! I have more inspiration from the Club La-La Land Crafts July 2020 Kit! I have been really inspired with this kit and having a very good time with it! I loved the dies and everything about it.



I went with an easier card for today's post. This card was a lot of fun with the elements. While I intended to make a shaker card, I decided on a diorama type card instead. If you look closely at some of the photos (sorry the one I took didn't come out and was to dark by the time I noticed to take another) You will see that the center circle bit is 4 layers high each being its own.



I had fun with the Safari Truck die this month. It is 4 layers thick. The first layer of orange, a layer of yellow, a layer of mirror (for the grill) paper, and another layer of orange. I did this so that the lights would look set into the Safari Truck.











I had some fun with her hat making it look like the meshy net look of most safari hats that I have seen. I had a great time coloring this Safari Marci with my class at Copic Academy. We did the hat and then we made the water bottle she is holding translucent. We also practiced our tiger print for her shirt.



We also learned how to color these cute hairy little chimps from the Ape About You Stamp Set that is included in the kit.



The last thing I added was the sentiment and the clouds to the card. It was a lot of fun using my bone folder to make the flag wavy.
