Club La-La Land Crafts May 2020 Kit Unboxing & Inspiration

Hey all! The Club La-La Land Crafts May 2020 Kit is here and ready for you!! This kit is so fun with it's farm theme! It has such cute dies and a lot of fun sentiments. The images are ADORABLE! Let me tell you I can't get enough of these little buns! It was fun to have our little bun Lollie running about for inspiration while coloring these images.
For my first projects I made both birthday-themed items. My first project, I made this cute little 7 x 7 (7 x 3.5 when folded) card with the bunny.
I was going to use the "Oh, Crop!" on this card but I couldn't find a place that I wanted to put it after all was said and done. But I had a great time putting it all together. I actually masked the carrot stamp to make a whole crop of carrots instead of cutting each on out.
I didn't use the Truck Die on this card completely but I did use the truck railing! It makes the best fence!
The hills I just made a template and then cut them out by hand. The Stitched Hills Die from La-La Land Crafts is soooo on my wish list!
The Copic markers I used on this card were:
Bunny: E50, 51, 53, 55, R20, 30
Boots: YG00, 01, 03, W3, Y26
Shovel: E35, 31, C5, 3, 1
Ground: E30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 25, 50
Carrots: YR14, 16, 18, G21, 24, 28
For the second project, I noticed a lot of people on the team were putting tags on cards but they weren't actually making JUST a tag. So, of course, your's truly had to be different and make a tag. I used both die cuts this time the Barn and the Truck that come with the kit. You can tell they are smaller but they are perfect for making a scene with them.
I also decided to try my hand at doing some patterns on Farmer Marci's clothes as my teammate and friend Cathy was getting very creative and inspired me. She used different pens than Copic markers but hers looks much better. I didn't think this was bad for my first try.
One thing I had fun with as well was the Truck Die! I will admit I was very intimidated at first as I don't normally use dies like this. But I had a great time sponging them and then putting them together. I know they are supposed to be background but I HAD to pop up those fenders!!!

 As you can see I used the Truck Die railing again for a fence... LOVE IT! |  I also used the Hello Life Paper Pack. There is the best sheet ever that has a sun and clouds on it.. so pretty! |
