Club La-La Land Crafts September 2019 Kit First Look

Hey all! Today is the day and it is really fun and exciting! It is time to show you the projects that I made with the September 2019 Club La-La Land Crafts Kit! This month it is all about Lemonade!!! One of my favorite things!

I have made some of the cutest cards for this kit and I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the possibilities with it! This first card with Marci with Lemons, for example, I made the Cold Drink die-cut into a shaker with some super cute little beads.



It doesn't move as well as I would like it too. I didn't make the foam go high enough. But the shaker part of the card works for what I wanted. I wanted it to look like there was lemonade in the glass. I also just LOVE the little ice cube die cuts that go with the Cold Drink die cut.



I also really like the Lemons/Lemonade word die-cut that comes with the kit as well. I LOVE the little lemon for an "O" and I love the little drink with the "D".



Marci with Lemons is so sweet as well with her little bowl of lemons. I had a great time coloring her. But when do I not have a good time coloring any Marci?

The Copic markers I used on this card were:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20, 30, 22

Hair: E50, 51, 53, 55

Headband, Shirt and Shoes: BG10, 11, 13, 15

Pants: C0, 2

Vest: YG00, 01, 03

Bowl: RV10, 13, 21, 23, 32

Lemons: Y11, 02, 15

The second card I used the Squeeze The Day stamp set. I am completely in love with this card! My son Stephen and my daughter Meadow had a say in how I put this card together. It is so much fun when they help me and have ideas.

I am on a, what I call, long card kick. I am just loving the look of them since I have remembered to actually do them instead of the traditional A2 size. It is a lot of fun! I love how you can do a whole little scene with the stamps you are using. In this case, I am using all the mice plus an extra one.

I wanted the scene to look like the little mice were bringing their own little fresh lemons to the lemonade stand. You can also see where I used the whole word Lemonade from the die-cut as well. The only part I didn't use was the little drink because I forgot to.



I also love the little mouse in the lemonade stand is just drinking all the lemonade. That must be why the other mice are bringing their own lemons haha!!



I really think it is cute that the Lemonade Stand die-cut comes with the little glass pitcher, cup, lemon, and two extra little signs. I used the two extra signs to make the Fresh and the 50 cents sign on the stand. I also used the Lemonade Sign with just the letters for the top of the lemonade stand.

For the background, I actually used 3 stencils and went over them a couple of times with different colors of Distress ink. I used Funky Squares Layering Stencils with Squeezed Lemonade (of course), Daisies On My Mind with Carved Pumpkin Ink and the flowers from Daisies On My Mind with Twisted Citron.

The Copic markers I used for this card are:

Mice: E40, 41, 42, 43, 93, R20, 30

Sign and Stand: E30, 31, 33, 35

Lemons and Lemonade sign on stand: Y02, 11, 15

Lemon Leaves: YG21, 23, 25

Cup: BG000

Straw: YG25
