Birthday Card Inspiration for Club La-La Land Crafts!

Hey all! If you already have the Club La-La Land Crafts August 2019 kit... here is some extra fun birthday card inspiration for you!

So with that great and fabulous news!! Let's get onto the birthday card inspiration, shall we!
The first card I did was using Marci with Present. I have to tell you I really enjoyed coloring her and her outfit. My daughter Meadow helped me to pick out the colors. She likes pinks, blues, and greens, so that is what we went for.
I used a white gel pen to put the patterns on everything after getting it all colored.
After getting the designs on her dress, I decided I wanted some glitter as well. I even put glitter on her wee shoes!! I had to it is just a must for a little girls birthday. What little girl doesn't want glitter on her dress and her shoes?
For the background, I used some stencil paper and the balloon die cut from the kit to make a stencil. I then used some Distress Oxide Picked Raspberries Ink to color in lighter and lighter on the balloons, layering them.
I also cut another balloon from vellum cardstock after embossing the "Surprise" sentiment on the paper. It was so much fun creating this cute little card. I hope you like it.
I finished it off with one of my double bows with some satin/organza ribbon and some stencils.

Now for my second project using the From All Of Us stamp set. I can't tell you enough of how much I love these little guys!
I actually used Distress Oxide Ink for the background again with the balloon die-cut stencil that I made. I had so much fun using it with the first card I made I had to do it again. This time however I used a couple of different colors to bring out the pinks, purples, and yellows in the group.
I also had a bit of fun with the little candle from the Birthday die-cut. I made sure that the "i" from birthday since it looked like a candle was just under the cupcake the hamster is holding. I wanted it to look like he was cooking his little cupcake.
I also did my bear, my moose, and my hippo a little differently. Meadow said that she loved how I made the hippos toes and fingers look like she had nail polish on. I thought that would be a bit of a nice touch since I did make the hippo a girl hippo.
I finished the card off with some sequins. I had so much fun making this one I didn't want to add anything else and feel that I had done too much.
