Angel Of Remembrance Aurora Wings Showcase

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey all! Today is wonderful! It is bright it is sunny and I have The Angel of Remembrance from Aurora Wings to show you! She is brand new and beautiful today.

I had such a relaxing time coloring her. The first thought out of my mind was "sepia!"

When I started to color her though... well more like halfway I was thinking very loudly thinking because I scared my kids when I made a gasping "OHHHHHH" noise hahaha!! That is when I had the thought of doing everything vintage but to leave her wings white!

From there I used walnut stain distress ink to make it look like I had taken it from my grandmothers treasures.

I had a lot of fun making this card. I used a few die-cuts to bring the vintage look out some more and did the edges of the card base with the walnut stain as well.

I also put some walnut stain on the white flowers and the lace ribbon to make it have that vintage look as well. I really love how this came out.

The Copic markers I used are:

  • Sepia: E40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 47

  • Wings: C00, 1, 3

I have one last fun and amazing thing from Mitzi she is so generous! It is coupon codes for you to save money on these beautiful gorgeous images!

  2. Sepia is a wonderful choice for this image, I agree, Cristena. That's brilliant that you decided to leave her wings white. Everything about this piece evokes the sweet nostalgia of the time gone by. Brilliant coloring and wonderful details. An instant heirloom! Thank you so much for this lovely inspiration for today's new release. M xxx
