Heart Hands Molly La-La Land Crafts

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey all! Happy Monday!! It is Background Stamps & Stencil week for the La-La Land Crafts Design Team, so I used my favorite ones! I used the Hearts & Harlequin Stencils and the Forever Hearts Background Stamp. What goes better with those hearts than Heart Hand Molly... right?!?!

I really love Heart Hand Molly so I thought I would let you see her completely this time instead of how I showed her to you the last time on the photo booth slider card I made.

I decided that I wanted to make her shirt with sheer sleeves like a shirt that I have. My shirt is black with flowers but that was not the colors that I wanted to use with this image so I went with pink and white.

I put a little C1 on the shirt so it would look sort of like a flowing shirt, but not pleated or ruffles so to say.

The Forever Hearts background I actually stamped in Picket Fence Distress Oxide ink first. I wanted it to have a chalky look when I colored it in with my Copic Markers. Yes, it is said that you should use your Copic markers first or it can gum up or even ruin your nibs. (knock on wood and pray a lot) I have not had any problems like this as of yet (yet being the keyword there haha).  I then obviously with the details I am giving you went over it with my Copic Markers R81 and R83.

The two Scalloped Rectangles that I used in the background I also put through my Crossover II with a rubber pad and the heart stencil from the Hearts & Harlequin. I did this to create some added texture to the green Scalloped Rectangle. I did the same to the white Scalloped Rectangle but I wanted to also color the hearts on that one.

I cut out two sets of the Heart Wreath 1 in white and 1 in green. I wanted to color the hearts of the white one and add them onto the green one, so the green would look like vines or leaves.  After I colored the hearts on the white Heart Wreath, I cut them out and added them to the green ones with some 3D foam squares. I still had to cut some of the 3D foam down but it still worked nicely.

The last things that I did were to cut out the sentiment that comes with Heart Hands Molly using the Double Stitched Circles. I used my glue pen to place the smaller Heart Wreath onto the sentiment Double Stitched Circle.  I also added some dew drops because we all know that they make everything look better heehee.

Copic markers I used for the project are:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20, 22, 30
Hair: E42, 43, 44, 47
Dress: C00, 1, R81, 83, 85
Shoes: C00, 1
Heart backgrounds: R81, 83, 85
