Calling Doctor Marci - Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hey all! I am back with 2 more really fun projects that I made using the new May 2019 Club La-La Land Crafts kit. This little kit is so much fun with the little die cuts and the stamps are just too adorable!

This time I went ahead and put one of the little piggies from "Cured Yet?" stamp set with Doctor Marci. Meadow once again helped me figure out how to decorate her outfit once I got it all colored. It is so much fun to color these stamps with Meadow, she has such a good time.

I don't think I have ever used these two colors together. I am not sure what possessed me to, but I am glad that I did.  I really like them together and I just might do it more often.

I had a really good time with all the different layers from all the die cuts that I used. I was having a really good time with this one, can you tell? I had a lot of different things I wanted to use and I couldn't narrow it down so ... well, I just used them all haha! I used all the die cuts on my supply list at the bottom of this post except the Nested Frames Large. Those I used on that cute little purple card below.

I also got the Funky Squares Layering Stencils and I am really enjoying them! So much that I used them on both of my projects.

The Copic markers I used on this project are:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20
Coat: W0, 1
Dress & Headband: BG000, 01, 02, 05, 07, White Gel Pen
Shoes: C1, 3
Hair: E41, 33, 34, 37
Clipboard: C2, 3, E33, 31, 34
Pig: E41, R00, 01, 02, YR61
Crutch & Bandaid: E41, 31, 34
Sling: BG13, 15

The second card that I have for you today is this adorable little piglet on an IV <sad face>. Having sick friends and loved ones is really hard. But even harder when there isn't much you can do. But a card like this should at least bring a smile to their face.

I don't think I did to bad considering that Meadow picked out the purple and I don't really like purple very much. I am more a blue and green kind of person. But this was a lot of fun.

I used the Funky Squares Layering Stencils two different ways with this card. First I stenciled them the way you normally would. Then after I got all that ink on the stencils I really didn't want to waste it. So I went over to the Crossover II and dry embossed the stencils onto some white cardstock. Doing this embedded the leftover ink onto the cardstock. As you can see from the photo above it was FUN! and there wasn't much ink for me to clean up.

I also sponged some ink on the Heart Beat die cut from the kit. I also wanted to add a soft touch to the card so I added some of the nice, sweet girly lace that I had purchased from Hobby Lobby. I also added some of the Sweetheart Blossom flowers that I love from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The Copic markers I used on this project are:
Skin: R00, 01, 02 YR61
Hoofs: E41
IV: t0, 1, 2, 6, BG000
Gown: V01, 04, 06, 09
