The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek Oil Always Love You

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hey all! Okay, super fun Cat's Pajamas day!!! Yes, It is day 5 of the sneaky peek of the new release!! Today's sneaky peek is the SUPER cute stamp set Oil Always Love You! It is so adorable! But then you already know how much I love bunnies!

I honestly think I color all the adorable Cat's Pajamas bunnies brown because I would LOVE to have a little brown bunny. I know the kids would love it, but I am worried they would get bored. So I will settle with these AMAZINGLY cute bunnies from The Cat's Pajamas.

This little fellow is just having a day! I decided that I was going to hide this one from my husband (and pray he doesn't see it on here haha!) for fathers day. Yes, fathers day this year haha!

When we first moved to California, my husband wasn't used to working on a car... AT ALL! Well, he would do the normal everyday/ weekly stuff.. but no major repairs. Then there was me... the one who was the grease monkey with dad and grandpa in the garage. The first major repair he did in California is I made him change his own fuel pump in his car. It was to darn expensive and if I can do it... he can do it. Although, I think he did it like 2... maybe 3 times. The first time wasn't his fault of course because of a wrong part issue. But it is a memory made that will not probably ever go away haha!

I also wasn't sure about the car color I wanted to do. I asked my son what color we should make it. He said, "Well bunnies like carrots and this bunny needs a car... so orange and green for a carrot car". Hmm... makes sense... so off we go for a carrot car.

My husband also LOVES LOVES LOVES coffee!! He is a Starbucks fan like there is no tomorrow. Granted so am I so I can't really talk much haha! That is why I picked this sentiment for the card. I also used the coffee cup from the Spit Happens stamp set. I wanted it to look as if he was tossing the coffee in the engine. I will tell you the bunny and the car come as one piece. I actually cut them apart so that I could get the desired effect with the coffee cup.

I know he looks like he is floating and while I am writing this post I am thinking I should have put just one more layer on the card. But I really wanted that mirrored background to play a big part since the embossing folder I used looks like a toolbox. But the last thing I added was the little TINY TINY button brads on the card. I just cut the prongs (is that what they are called) off and put them on with glue dots.

The Copic Markers I used are:

  • Fur: E50, 51, 53, 55

  • Nose: R01, 02

  • Overalls: B21, 23, 24, 28

  • Hat: R24, 29, 46

  • Car: YR09, 12, 14, 16, 18, G21, 24, YG03, BG000, C1

  • Tires: C1, 3, 8, 6

  • Coffee Cup: E23, YR61, 68, G16

  • Tool Chest: E41, YR68, C3, Y18
