Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019 Kit Reveal

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hey all! I have some exciting news for you today!! Super exciting news actually! I have been asked to be a guest designer for Club La-La Land Crafts! I know you are saying "but you are already a guest designer" But this is the team that designs for the exclusive monthly kits that are always to die for and can't get unless you subscribe! So, yeah feelin' a little special here.

I get to show you today 2 of the projects that I have made so far for the kit. They are so much fun! Who loves pigs?? If you do you are going to LOVE this kit!

The first card that I made is using the club exclusive stamp set called Cured Yet? which to me is hysterical since it is a stamp set with 3 of the cutest stinkin' piggies ever!

Are these little guys cute or what??? Seriously too much cuteness! Of course, Meadow also had to get in on the action so you can see what she made in a couple of days on her blog as well, you know she can't be left out.

I love this little Pill Bottle die cut! It's little heart-shaped belly band to go across the front of the bottle is so cute! The lid and the belly band come as different pieces. I used 3D foam to put it together. I used just a normal tape runner to put the belly band on and offset the heart with some 3D foam.

I also used the Heartbeat die cut from the kit. I love how it has a little heart in the center of the heartbeat pattern. I couldn't resist using it and the pill bottle on both of my projects.

The sentiments for this stamp set just crack me up! I had to use the one that makes me laugh the most and that is "Are you cured yet?". It really just makes me laugh every time I think about it.

The Copic markers I used on this card are:

Pigs: R01, 02, YR61, E41 White Gel Pen
IV: BG000, C1, 3, 8
Hospital Gown: BG23, 32, 34, 45, White Acrylic Ink
Blanket & Pillow: YG00, 01, 03, White Acrylic Ink
Sheets and sling: B000, 01, 02, 04, 05
Bed posts: E41, 31, 34
Ice Pack: R81, 83, 85
Bandaid and Crutch: E41, 33

You can also see that I have used a few die cuts in both of my cards. I have listed everything below in my supply list so that you can have quick easy access without having to search for items.

Now for the second card I made is very fun and cool. Well, at least I think so haha! I decided to use Doctor Marci with this card. This card design was also inspired by my daughter, Meadow. I am not exactly sure what we were talking about, but the idea just popped into my head like magic, pocket treat card!

So, one of the really fun things about being a subscriber to the La-La Land Crafts Club is that you get project tutorials from everyone in the team! <GASP> right!! There are some seriously talented people on the team and they made some amazing tutorials. This card is actually been put into a tutorial for all the subscribers. So you will be able to see exactly EXACTLY step by step, how I put the whole thing together.

As you can see I did use the Heartbeat die cut from the kit on this card as well. I did it in an off white/vanilla color so that it would stand out a bit more. Plus, I was starting to get the feeling I was probably using a bit to much pink.  I also used the Hearts & Harlequin stencils for this one as well.

The design on Doctor Marci's dress was also inspired by Meadow. Well, actually she just told me what design to put on it. She is extremely creative I love to watch her creativity grow as she gets older.

The Curved Pocket die cut I used is perfect for the Theraflu that I put inside the pocket. We also were able to fit a package of Lipton's Cup Of Soup. You can fit almost anything as wide as a gift card in the pockets.

I used the pill bottle die cut one more time. It is just too cute to resist. I also used the Wishing you well sentiment from the Doctor Marci stamp. I thought that was the perfect sentiment for the pocket Theraflu.

The Copic markers I used on this card are:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20, R02
Dress and headband: R00, 01, 02, White Gel Pen
Doctors Coat: T4
Clipboard: E41, 31, 33, 34, C0, 3
Stethoscope: C0
Shoes: E41, 31, 34
Hair: E30, 31, 34, 37

If you would like to see everything that comes in the kit here is my video reveal for the kit as well. It is my first one... so be nice haha!
