Lovely Lulu with Peony - Paper Nest Dolls

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey All! I hope you are all having a blessed Sunday. I get to show you the sweet little Lulu with Peony today from Paper Nest Dolls. She is so absolutely sweet and delightful that I needed a card to match her.

I also wanted to make her into a sweet little Easter card that was non-traditional with the Easter bunnies and eggs.

I colored her with a nice soft but bright green dress and hair bow. After I finished coloring her, I fussy cut her out to be sure I got as close as I wanted.

I didn't want to have her just on a plain white cardstock circle for the background. I decided to use one of my old Stampin' Up! embossing folders to put some nice texture on there. The added texture from the Nested Circle w/Small Stitch die cuts from Rubbernecker Stamps also did a nice job of giving the card that extra little touch.

The last things I added were some lace from my favorite roll of lace ribbon from Hobby Lobby, along with some pretty sequins to match her peony.

The Copic markers I used were:

  • Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20

  • Hair: E50, 51, 53

  • Dress and Bow: YG00, 01, 03

  • Peony: RV10, 93, R83

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Don't forget to go and see the rest of the team's creations over at the Paper Nest Dolls Challenge blog, You can also find great inspiration over at the Paper Nest Dolls Facebook Group as well.
