Avery With Coffee PND - Coffee Lovers Guest Designer

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey All! I am having a lot of fun being a guest designer for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. All the different images that have coffee it was honestly hard to choose what to use.

It was quite the process but one of the first images that came to mind to use was the adorable Paper Nest Dolls Avery with Coffee stamp. Those stamps always make me think of my daughter Meadow when I color them up. They are also some of Meadow's favorite stamps as well because she is always amazed of how cute they are and how they all look as if they are her age.

Avery With Coffee is a lot of fun. She really makes me think of Meadow with her love for coffee as much as I have mine. I decided that I was going to put little wee freckles on her face, just as Meadow has.

I added the sentiment Wicked from Rubbernecker Stamps to the card. I thought it would work perfectly with the size of the coffee that Avery is holding, plus it really made me laugh. I stamped it on some Whipped Cream cardstock with the Distress Walnut Stain ink from Ranger.

After I stamped it, I ran it through my Crossover II with the Rubbernecker Stamps Nested Circle Small Stitch die cut. It still looked a little off... only to me of course because I love my layers! So I decided to put a little bit of a scalloped edge on the circle with the Rubbernecker Stamps Nested Scalloped Circles. Then I liked the sentiment on this circle a lot more.

The last thing I used to finish off this super cute coffee card was some lace that I got from Hobby Lobby and some Deep Ivory Sweetheart Blossom flowers that I have from Wild Orchard.

The Copic markers I used are:

  • Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20, BV20, E23 (for freckles)

  • White Clothes and shoes: 0 Clear, C1, 2

  • Shirt: B000, 01, 02

  • Hair: E50, 51, 53

  • Heart: R17, 24, 27, 29, 46

  • Coffee sleeve: E50, 23, 25

  • Other things: White gel pen, .05 Black Copic Multi-liner

I really hope that you enjoy the card I made for today's post. Please be sure to go over and follow the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, I know you will love it! They also have a group on facebook if you would like to go over there and check out all the fantastic coffee, tea and hot chocolate inspiration they have.

Until next time friends!!!
