Candles ~ Rubbernecker Stamps

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Hey All! Wow!! Is it really November already??? My husband went the other day and was buying Turkey already! I still have birthday cards to try and make... then I have to try to remember to send them out! I think remembering to send them out is the hardest thing for me. I made this cute little shaker card a while ago using Rubbernecker Stamps Candles stamp. I had a lot of fun coloring it. I like that I got to color them in different colors, and they had a die cut to go with them so I could put them in different places on my card. Or I guess I could have just used 1 or 2 of them instead of all three. But I decided to just go for using them all. They really are cute candles.

To do the shaker card part of it, I have had an EK Tools Curvy Cutter kit for the longest time! I thought now would be the best time to try it out. It worked great! Granted I will always just love to use a die cut, but if on the road or just in a pinch it works really nice. It was great too that it came with bags, boxes and a couple of other items you could use with the kit.

For inside the shaker card I used "Toppings" from Queen & Company. I love theirs the best because they have loads of fun little things to put in the shaker cards.

The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from the Happy Birthday stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps. I love this stamp set because there are so many different ways and styles that you have something for everyone in the set.

The ribbon was a lot of fun! It made me think of icing on a cake. It came from May Arts (link at the bottom, no it's not affiliate) It is a lot of fun! It comes in a few different colors if pink isn't your thing.

The Copic markers I used are:

  • Pink Candle: RV10,13,23, R24, 27, 29

  • Purple Candle: V20, 22, 25, 28, C1, 3, 5, 7

  • Blue Candle: BG10, 11, 13, 15, Y02, 04, 06, 08
