Sweet Rubbernecker Sunday #23
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It is Sweet Rubbernecker Sunday #23 for Team 2 on the Rubbernecker Stamps design team. I have decided to use Watercolor Wreath (976) for my inspiration today. Yes, it doesn't look very watercolored does it? I am still trying to practice with that part. So, I decided to color it instead because I really had my heart set on using this stamp today. Honestly, I think I did much better at coloring it with my Copics rather than using the watercolor. I am a bit jealous of my team mates that can do watercolor like they were just born with it. I love their talent.
I was thinking afterwards that I should have cut the center out as well. Then made the sentiment Merry Christmas With Swirls (983-03) come from behind, as if peeking through the center of the wreath. But once again excitement got me that I had found some sliver embossing powder and bam! it was done haha!
I decided that I wanted to make my holly berries on the watercolor wreath stand out a bit. The stamp set comes with holly berries but after all the cutting with the moose from Tuesday... I was not up for more cutting at that point, I will just be honest haha! So I found some VERY SMALL rhinestones to use and I used my Copic R29 to color them red.
I really tried to get a good photo for you, but wow is that hard! My camera really just wanted to focus on the Merry Christmas sentiment instead.
